Our Staff Certified as BDS Providers by Danish Refugee Council (DRC)

On August 4th, 2025, a team of staff from Raising Hope Centre successfully completed specialized training by the Danish Refugee Council (DRC) to become certified Business Development Services (BDS) providers.

This achievement marks an important step in strengthening our ability to deliver entrepreneurship training, financial literacy, mentorship, and market linkages to vulnerable communities. With this new capacity, we are better positioned to empower refugees, women, and youth in Kitengela and beyond with the tools to achieve financial independence and resilience.

Provide Learning Materials for Vulnerable Children

Campaign Goal: Raise $10,800 to support 72 vulnerable children with essential learning materials for the second term of the 2025 school year.

How Your Support Makes a Difference

School Supplies: Notebooks, pens, pencils, erasers, and rulers.
Textbooks: Essential books tailored to local curricula to help children stay on track.
Backpacks: Durable bags to carry their materials with pride and ease.

Every $150 donation equips one child with a complete set of school supplies and school meals for the year. Your generosity can help create a lasting impact in their lives.

The board drives the decision-making process and facilitates the pursuit of our strategic goals by providing advice on policy, advocacy, fundraising, and public relations.
